How we check
We keep a register of every checkable fact on this website: contribution limits, grant and bond amounts, income thresholds, ages, deadlines, and Alberta program rules such as AISH and ADAP.
Every day, an automated review compares each fact with official sources only: Government of Canada pages (Canada Revenue Agency, Employment and Social Development Canada and Service Canada), Government of Alberta pages, and the Alberta Insurance Council. News articles, bank websites and blogs are never used as the basis for a change.
A figure is updated only when an official source clearly shows it has changed, and every place it appears on the site is updated together. Anything unclear is referred to Ruth Kabuthia-Mathema, our licensed agent, for review before any change is made. When next year's figures are announced, pages labelled for the current year stay as they are until the new rules take effect. Every check is logged and a summary is sent to our team.

A daily check reduces the chance of outdated information, but it cannot guarantee that every detail is correct at every moment: governments can change rules between checks, and your own situation may differ. Content on this site is general information, not individual tax, legal or investment advice. If you spot something that looks wrong, email wealth@wawira.ca and we'll look into it.
